Bug fixing hackaton is under way

This is good news for the upcoming opensuse 13.1.  There’s a hackaton under way, with people trying to clear serious bugs.

I have been receiving quite a few emails showing activity on bugs that I have reported or where I have added comments.  Some of those bugs have been flagged as SHIP_STOPPER, which I think means that shipment of a final 13.1 release will have to wait until the problems in the bug have been adequately addressed.  In particular, several of the bugs that I mentioned in my “installing” post have been flagged.

I see this as a very positive step.
